Operation Smile South of the Border

This article in today’s Gazette tugged at my heart. On the day before we devour our turkeys to celebrate our Thanksgiving, maybe we should all be more thankful that people like plastic surgeons Drs. Peete and Muskett practice in our fair city.

The article is one of Dr Muskett’s periodic musings, seems like at least once a month in the Gazette though he may have his own blog, usually at least a little philosophical, and often humorous in his wry, ironic way. I suspect that were we to check up on his pre-medical education we would find a shy founding member of P.O.E.M. which I think stands for Professional Organization of English Majors. This article tells some of Peete’s and Muskett’s plastic surgical adventures in Puebla, Mexico. Worth reading for insight into the plastic surgeon’s heart and mind.

The picture above or to the left depending on the formatting gods is from a couple of years ago but don’t forget he is a plastic surgeon.
