Going to the Store

Main Aisle CostCo, Billings MT

While doing errands on the weekend before Christmas we noted the highways and the parking lots filled to the brim with cars and trucks from all over Montana and Wyoming and a few from North Dakota too.

We managed to easily overfill a shopping cart at CostCo, which included a couple of electronic toys to interest our grandchildren, and perhaps not surprisingly, managed to break our single day record of spending in that splendid place.

It only took 15 minutes to get out of the parking lot.

Storage at CostCo

I like their no-nonsense way of storing the stuff they are going to sell us next week or next month and the great samples of some really good food. Keep up the good work dear friends at CostCo.

This is a good example of how a market system works. Both in theory and in practice our Socialist friends have never been able to figure this out with their heavy-handed top-down approach.

Old Fashioned Soda Fountain

Not wanting to give all our business to the SORM (South Of Rimrock Mall) area we then had fun whizzing around the roundabouts on Shiloh Road on our way to Shiloh Crossing where they have a full-time candy store with lots of stuff that we remembered from our childhoods.

They even knew we grew up in Wisconsin because we identified sea foam candy as angel candy.
