Sunrise Patty Melt at Perkin's

Many people around these parts stop in at various restaurants around town after church on Sunday, usually relatively fast food places. I count Perkin’s and IHOP among these. We go to both fairly often, especially the former because they change their menus every few months it seems. One of those new things on the Perkin’s menu is this beauty, called, I think, Sunrise Patty Melt. This particular one was really done just right with a burger, almost hidden above, done about medium though I didn’t ask for that; and some very nice bacon on top of an egg over easy done just right. That last needs some attention to detail as those of you who are fussy about your eggs know. On this occasion the ‘Tangler’ onions on the side were more than a little overdone. They were apologetic about that.
