Outdoor Western dinner in Billings MT (Western Romance Company)

Horseback rides along the Pryor Creek near Billings, MT before the cowboy dinner and cocert!

Well, it has come to my attention (well it was kind of a given) that my old websites that dealt with the Huntley Project High School and area is a little out of date due to the coding in the html codes I learned while in the University.  So I learened to write articles with  these types of codes for the last year but have found that I’m out of date and need to upgrade to better outlets to get to the masses. Even though I had picutres of the Huntley Project High school fire which occured on Sept 18, 2008; I still have a lot of work to do.   So the Western Cowboy Adventure website I created does not seem to be modern.  However,  neither are the wagon rides and adventures that have increased the interest of Western Romance company in the Billings MT area.  The last year has come to be one of the best years for Western Romance Company from horseback rides, cowboy cookouts and western tours.

Now I’m not sure how much of the word gets out about Pappy’s Cowboy adventures whether he’s singing and yodeling or just sitting around the campfire with horses and mules in the background but the authentic western wagon rides and horseback rides that are offered there are the best outdoor activities to do in Billings MT, also known as the Magic City.   Now savor a cowboy dinner and meal that is fit for anyone with a hungry appetite.  From Steak, cowboy beans and indian fry bread to fruit and all the fixins possible.  Come hungry as your meal will be filled with many delicious tastes that your taste buds will be stunned. WRC has had numerous request for recipes for the cowboy beans,  fry bread and other specialty foods prepared by the WRC cooks.

Now the wagon rides, or should I say covered wagon rides, give the feeling that the old West is about to come alive. The wagons are not just ordinary covered wagons but some of them are actual sheep wagons they were custom built to carry guests to and from Pappy’s campsite, so it’s not just modernized but old fashion wagons pulled by horses that give the authentic experience. Especially when you get a glimpse of Pappy who looks like he just fell off a 1880 wagon train with his beard, boots, and hat.  The hat is called the Montana Creese,  (or something he made up). Either way, his hat, chaps, ropes and spurs are what makes Pappy unique and set apart from what is offered in and around Billings, Montana.

So now that the past year has come and gone,  things to look forward to are more horseback rides, cowboy concerts with guitar music backed up by the harmonica, newer entertainment, hopeful CD, t-shirts,  and a continued meal for any group or individual traveling to Billings MT.
